Vivian Dsena (RK) and Drashti Dhami (Madhu) starrer Nautanki Telefilms’ highly appreciated show Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors, has been witnessing some high-octane drama, where the love story of duo is on the edge of separation.

Madhu is under the pressure of Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi), who wants her to divorce RK, if she wants to see him alive. Sultan is hell-bent to get his love Madhu on any condition and even went ahead to threaten her for RK’s life. In the last episode, one could notice that Madhu has taken that big step of her life and decided to divorce RK. But before she proceeds with her decision, she intends to spend some quality time with the man he loves. She asks RK to remain waken whole night with her in company.

The couple spends a night on the terrace glaring at the full-lit moon, only to be disturbed by Sultan who is watching the sight in hiding. Madhu is very emotional and wants to be as close to RK as possible for the night, as she has already decided to talk about divorce the very next morning.

But life doesn’t seem to be so easy for Madhu. The next morning, she gets a shock when the family is informed about RK’s bail getting cancelled. This only means that Sultan wants Madhu to take her decision fast. And the moment finally comes when Madhu signs on the divorce papers.

In the coming episode, as per the Sultan’s plan, Madhu goes to meet RK in the jail and with a heavy heart, pretends as though she is fed up of this life full of uncertainties. Madhu breaks the ice and tells RK that she wants divorce, and that she does not want to live with a person of such behaviour. Also, the fact that she has been in love with Sultan stops her from having a marital life with RK. This stuns RK to no extent.

It is also informed that, disheartened RK will unwillingly let Madhu go out of his life and will sign on the divorce papers in the coming episodes.

Shama Deshpande who essays the role of Radha in Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.

Shama speaks about her young co-actor Vivian Dsena who plays her son RK in the show - "Vivian is a very lively human being and I wish that he stays for longer in the show. Vivian respects his seniors and co-actors a lot and that is a very good thing about him, which I wish never changes."

About her other young co-actor, Drashti Dhami playing her daughter-in-law Shama says, "Drashti is a very hardworking girl and today's youth is indeed very hard working. She is an extremely talented girl and gives her 100 percent. Seeing her dedication I sometimes feel that she should remove some time forherself too. Drashti is a wonderful actress and I am sure that she will do wonders with her work always."

Shama's advice for today's youth – "Today's youth has a huge platform to showcase their talent hence their 75% tension is relieved. However, the rest 25% depends upon their hard work. I wish I was born in today's generation (laughs)."

Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon: Is RK and Madhu's divorce a ploy to trap Sultan?

Sultan has stooped to a new low to get Madhu in his life, but will he succeed?

Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi) has threatened to kill Rishab Kundra (Vivian DSena) if Madhubala (Drashti Dhami) does not divorce him. Initially she opposed the idea and asked Sultan to go to hell, but when he acted on his threats, Madhu had to agree. So now the track is, after spending a romantic night under the stars, the couple is forced to split as RK's bail gets cancelled. Madhu meets her hubby in prison and tells him that she wants a divorce. Heartbroken and angry RK yells and calls her names, but finally agrees to sign on the dotted line.

Both RK and Madhu are in tears, while their respective families are shell shocked.Sultan on the other hand is rejoicing his victory. Everything is going according to his plan – or so he believes, but we smell something fishy. RK signs the paper too easily and Madhu gives up too fast. Wethinks, this is just a smart and well-crafted plan by the couple to expose Sultan in the open. Once Sultan's side is exposed, Madhu and RK will reunite.

However, if the divorce is not fake and they do separate, we as fans are going to be quite upset. Rishabala will be miserable without each other and the viewers without them. One thing we know for sure is that Madhu will never love Sultan as long as RK is alive, but what if the baddie kills our hero? It was seen that RK (Vivian Dsena) was very much hurt when Madhubala told him that she loves only Sultan and also demanded for divorce.

RK who has promised to give all things to Madhubala has signed the divorce in heart broken state.

The upcoming episode will show that Bittuji will comment on Madhubala for getting divorce from RK and Madhubala unwillingly slap him.

As India gears up to celebrate its 67th Independence Day on August 15, GGN correspondent talked to some popular TV artists and celebrities, who appears in a number of popular shows on COLORS channel, to know their feelings about this auspicious day. Excerpts:


Drashti Dhami (Madhu of Madhubala- Ek Ishq, EkJunoon & Contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa)

“I remember in school we used to take part in cultural activities, especially dance and drama on Independence Day showcasing the struggle of what our freedom fighters through our act. As kids I remember reading through history books and reading in books about revolutionists who sacrificed their life for this country. This year, through Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, I will be playing tribute through my special act on Vande Mataram.”

“Being in military school, we used to have a lot of activities planned for Independence Day. From being a part of the flag hoisting ceremony to participating in the parade, I used to be a part of every ceremony. I used to thoroughly enjoy it as it would induce a sense of immense pride. I make sure that I still try and be a part of the celebrations and express my regards for the country.”

Colors’ Madhubala makes news on screen…and off screen as well. Barely had the news of lead actor Vivian Dsena not getting along well with co star Seema Mishra had died down, here comes another piece of gossip from the sets of the show.
What are we getting at?
Well, we have learnt that Seema has been getting extra cosy with her married co-star Sikandar Kharbanda (better known as Indraniel of Kasautii Zindagii Kay).
Aha…getting naughty naughty…
Sources say that the two have become very close and spend a lot of time with each other.
“Apparently the two even stand up for each other when needed,” added the source.
Armed with this piece of spicy info, we first got in touch with Seema who rubbished it saying, “There is nothing between us. Sikandar is a very good friend of mine…that’s it.”
When we told her that we have heard that she and Sikandar get quite cosy with each other, she got a bit upset and said, “Did your source not say that I am cosy with Shama Deshpande as well. I spend most of my time in her room.”
We then called up Sikander to learn his side of the story, he too denied any link-up maintaining, “I am a happily married man with a four and half year old son. We (Seema and me) have most of our scenes together so people might have misconstrued.”
He further added, “I am close to everyone on the sets including Seema for till you don’t build a personal equation you can’t deliver your optimum best. Our negative and comic combination works well. Seema and I hang out together most of the time in Shamaji’s make up room, but your sources don’t notice Shamaji I guess. If she reads about this she will be shocked for she takes us to be kids.”
We asked him to continue…
“I sometimes sit at Drashti Dhami’s (Madhubala) room as well for I don’t get time to check her Jhalak performances. Now I am worried that people might start linking us up as well. I think I better stay alone in my room along with my room partner Indresh Malik,” quips he.
In closing, Sikandar adds, “Please don’t pay too much attention to such false news for it might affect Seema who has her own personal life as well. Such false news unnecessarily creates tension.”

Nautanki Telefilms' Madhubala and Do Dil Ek Jaan team to battle it out at the cricket field

It’s a National Holiday tomorrow (15 August) and Nautanki Telefilms has decided to utilize the Independence Day in a very constructive yet entertaining manner.
Yes, the cast and crew of their shows, namely Madhubala (Colors) and Do Dil Ek Jaan (Life OK) will play an exciting cricket match. We hear that the cast of both the shows are gearing up for the D-day and are ready to outdo the other…
Vivian Dsena, the popular RK of Madhubala confirmed the news saying, “Yes, we are playing the match and I am pretty excited about it. Since I am an all rounder, I am all set to give my opponents a strong competition. We have been practicing for the match for some time now, taking time out from our hectic shoots and it will definitely be a competitive match.”
When asked whether he has the confidence that his team is going to win, the good looking actor with a smile averred, “We are all set for the battle. Fingers are crossed and I hope Madhubala team emerges victorious.”
Vivian’s co-actor Sikandar Kharbanda also added, “We are all very excited for the match but the erratic Mumbai rains may act as a spoilsport. I am also suggesting the team that if it rains we can indulge in some hard-kicking soccer match (laughs).”
He further shared, “Since me and Vivian are good football players we would not mind the change. But I am also a good batsman and wicketkeeper so I am all game for anything that comes up tomorrow.”
Khar gymkhana (Mumbai) will be the venue for this exciting match. Must say, a great way for the production house to keep their actors united and happy, with some healthy competition!!

This is one 'playful' Independence Day celebrations.

Nautanki Films — the makers of Madhubala and Do Dil Ek Jaan — is hosting a Triangular cricket series this August 15. The three teams, comprising 11 members each, are that of Madhubala, Do Dil Ek Jaan and a new film's unit which Saurabh Tewari is producing.

Madhubala's team will include Vivian Dsena, Avinash Rekhi, Sikandar Kharbanda and director Prasad Gavandi. Saurabh Tewari will captain the team. The team of Do Dil Ek Jaan will comprise Ayaz Ahmed, Jaskaran, director Amit Mallick and other members of the unit. Abhinav Shukla will head the team.

The members of the third team hasn't been revealed, though sources say it might be headed by Ravindra Gautam, who used to direct Madhubala. The debut film of the production house — Ikkis Topon Ki Salaami —is being helmed by Ravindra himself. Most of the female cast of the show would be present to cheer the boys up.
