Drashti Dhami who got recently declared as the undisputed dance queen on the Jhalak floor is perhaps facing the after-effects of the stressful schedule that she has had over the last few months, juggling between Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and her show, Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon both on Colors.
The news from the sets of this popular Nautanki Telefilms show is that Drashti has been suffering from severe back problems over the past two days. And she is presently going through various tests, which actually might indicate to a slip disc problem.
A source from the sets of the show told us that Drashti is indeed in pain. Probably this is because of the excessive dance rehearsals that she has subjected her body to of late. As of now, doctors have advised her to take bed rest for seven days.
The source also maintains that this sudden development is bound to affect the shoot and quality of Madhubala, especially because the story line in the show is at its peak with the heroine track kicking off recently.
We tried calling Drashti to enquire about her health, but she remained unavailable. We also sent her a text message.

TOI has been exclusively updating its readers about all the latest developments from the sets of Colors' Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.

After reporting about seasoned actress Navneet Nishan's walk out from the show, the latest we hear is that popular actress Seema Kapoor last seen in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai has been finalized to replace Navneet.

Sources inform that Navneet who was cast to play the role of Pabo was not able to cope with the shooting schedule of the show and walked out twice in the last week, leaving the production house high and dry.

This forced the production house (Nautanki Telefilm's) to replace the actress and the character of Pabo will now be played by Seema Kapoor.

Seema Kapoor is expected to start shooting for the show from tonight.

When contacted, Seema said, "Yes, I am doing the show. I haven't started shooting for the show yet but it feels nice to be a part of Madhubala. I wanted to take a break after Ek Hazaaron.. ended but the makers of Madhubala needed me urgent basis so I had to say yes. I've always done very urban roles onscreen so it's a nice change for me."

Navneet Nishan might be an experienced actress, but her recent behaviour on the sets of Colors’ popular show Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon came as a shocker to the channel and production house.
Says a reliable source from the sets of the Nautanki Telefilms show, “Nanveet has been extremely unprofessional on the sets. She has in fact walked out of the set twice last week because she found her dialogues difficult to mouth. The actress cannot shoot beyond 7 because of alcohol problems. And today was the worst experience ever, as she left the shoot this morning saying that she does not like the faces of technicians. Her consensus is that the whole set of Madhubala has negative vibes.”
The makers are presently placed at a mess as they have not shot the entire sequence to be aired today. She was requested by the channel and makers to quit the show on a professional manner so that her proper exit could be planned. But the lady has not given any room for that with her recent unprofessional behaviour, claims our source.
We tried contacting Navneet Nishan, but she remained unavailable for comments.
The news doing rounds is that veteran actress Gopi Desi and Seema Kapoor are few of the names who have been approached to play Paddo Massi in Madhubala.

Against all odds, RK to name Madhu as his film's new heroine in Colors' Madhubala...



Colors’ Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon (Nautanki Telefilms) is slowly heading towards the sequence where RK (Vivian Dsena) will announce the heroine of his movie to be Madhu (Drashti Dhami).

So what pushes him to take this move, when he has finalized Simmi (Priyanka Solanki) as his heroine?

Well, on the day of the muhurat of the movie, Simmi will not turn up and RK will get a shock of his life. While on one hand, Madhu will be tense on what RK will do now, Pabbo’s (Navneet Nishan) Guruji, essayed by Lalit Parimoo, will predict that Madhu’s kundali is such that it will affect all the men who are part of her life. And this time around, it will be RK who will get ruined.

Meanwhile, RK will take the huge step of unveiling Madhu as the new heroine for his movie. The media magnets and paparazzi will be left stunned to see Madhu being named as RK’s heroine. But RK will stand by Madhu giving her the required confidence.

Furthermore, Deepali (Seema Mishra) will instigate Pabbo against Madhu which will lead to the lady taking a stand that Madhu cannot act in films.
