Popular faces of Colors skip its Holi event


Early in the day, we reported about a holi sequence being shot for Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance (D3).

And the latest is that Colors shot its Holi special show, Rang De Colors, yesterday (17 March 2013).

However, some of the channel’s well-known faces gave it a miss.

As reported earlier, Vivian Dsena better known as RK of Madhubala, could not attend the bash due to his pre-planned honeymoon. But, he was not the only actor to have featured in the “missing” list.

Your favorites like Kunal Karan Kapoor (Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha … Season2), Dipika Samson (Sasural Simar Ka) and the girl who grew up with Colors - Avika Gor (Sasural Simar Ka) too weren’t around.

Furthermore, even the Parichay (the show went off-air on 15 March 2013) team did not turn up for the do.

The artistes who were present at the event tried to keep up the spirit by playing in two teams - girls and boys. While Drashti Dhami led the girl’s team, the boy’s team was led by Sumeet Raghavan (part of Nautanki), as it was called Ailane Rang.

However an actor present at the event, on the basis of anonymity, told us, “Unfortunately, it was a thanda affair. Though everybody tried keeping up the spirit, nothing really worked in favour of the channel.”

We tried contacting Kunal, Dipika and Avika, but they remained unavailable for comment.

The Holi special sequence will be aired on 27 March 2013 at 3pm.

RK’s (Vivian Dsena) insecurities for Madhubala (Drashti Dhami) is growing day by day in Madhubala ek ishq ek junoon on Colors.

RK insulted Madhubala because her well wisher broke his car since he did not allow her to talk to him.

Madhubala was totally shocked to realize that Sultan did all these.

Madhubala confronted Sultan and blamed Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi) for his bad activity and his threatening letter to RK.

It will now be shown that RK will call Madhubala and ask her to tell the phone number of her new man.

RK feels bad thinking whether their love is so weak that she moved on so fast.

In Saurabh Tiwari's Nautanki Films' popular daily soap Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors, we will see that the new entrant Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi) will get shot by Bhujang (Siddharth Vasudev).

In the upcoming episode of the show it will be shown that when Sultan goes to fix a deal with Bhujang, an argument sparks off which ultimately grows into a fight. Bullets are fired and the one from Bhujang's gun hits Sultan.

When Madhu learns about Sultan's injury she quickly rushes to see him so that she can take care of him since he has nobody to look after him.

Neha Mehta to enter Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon

Nautanki Films' Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoonis churning out some high voltage drama currently. After Avinesh Rekhi's entry it's time for beautiful and talented Neha Mehta to enter the show.


Sources inform that Neha, who was last seen inSaubhagyavati Bhava has been roped in to play the role of Sultan's ( Avinesh Rekhi) wife. She will enter the show when Madhu ( Drashti Dhami) will inquire Sultan about his wife. She will be seen in flashbacks hence Sultan's past gets revealed.

When contacted, Neha confirmed, "Yes, am doing the show and I am really excited to be a part of a show like Madhubala. I was offered Madhubala twice before but due some reasons I couldn't do. However, this time it has finally happened so am happy. It's a very strong role so I am really looking forward to it."

RK’s (Vivian Dsena) absence is now focusing story around gangster Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi) and Madhubala (Drashti Dhami) in Madhubala ek ishq ek junoon on Colors.

Present track shows that Sultan has been shot by Bhujang during a fight.

Madhubala and Kaka have find out Sultan in injured condition.

Madhubala was shocked when kaka refuses to call a doctor.

It will now be shown that Kaka will insist Madhubala to remove bullet from Sultan’s body by a knife.

Apart from this, Madhubala will come to know about Sultan’s bitter past.

Flashback sequence will make entry of Sultan’s wife which will be played by Neha Mehta.
