When the first promo of Colors now Popular Show Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon starring Drashti Dhami and Vivian Dsena was aired the makers made it pretty clear that this was going to be a different Show.The show in a simple one line was summarized as the tale of a Simple Girl and her rise to Stardom. The promos were aired and the Concept of an Ordinary Girl born on a Film sets who was being pushed into the World of Cinema against her will became the talk of town and the most discussed topic. Audience who always crave for something new, something out of the Box… finally found it in Colors Madhubala:EIEJ produced by Nautanki Films.The Show changed its course several times and now after almost a Year the Main Story of Madhubala, of a common girl becoming a superstar is soon going to unfold. Beautiful and talented Anita Hassanandani, who is currently impressing audiences with her comic skills in silent comedy show, GuturGu and was recently seen in Bindaas' Yeh Hai Aashiquiwill soon enter Nautanki Telefilm's Madhubala-EK Ishq Ek Junoon.
TOI has been updating its readers about all the latest development from the Nautanki Telefilm'sMadhubala- Ek...aired on Colors'.
After reporting about Madhu's ( Drashti Dhami) journey from a ordinary girl to becoming a superstar and Shishir Sharma's entry, the latest we hear is that Anita has been finalised to do a cameo on the show.
Sources inform that Anita has been cast to play the role of a popular Bollywood actress Sanya. In the forthcoming episodes, RK ( Vivian Dsena) who is banned by Producers guild will plan to produce a film and will approach Sanya (Anita Hassanandani) to playhis heroine. However, it will come as a rude shock to RK when Sanya who made her debut with him turns down his offer. RK will be left with no other option but to cast Madhu as his heroine. This will mark the beginning of Madhu as an actress. Anita will start shooting from today (5 September 2013) and her entry is expected to be aired end of this week.
When contacted, Anita remained unavailable for comment.

Currently, on Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, the storyline features Superstar RK (Vivian Dsena) being banned by the Producer’s Guild for his unprofessional behavior, owing to which all producers refuse to work with him. An angry RK decides to produce his own film with a fresh face for his venture. To zero-in on the perfect new face, the show is now stepping out of the tube to conduct auditions and encouraging aspiring actors from the across the country to send in their entries. The newbie who manages to impress Superstar RK the most will be offered a chance to star opposite him and be RK’s classic heroine.
Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, the frontrunner show on Colors has come up with this initiative encouraging new talent and giving its audience an opportunity to be part of the epic show.
The contest invites applicants to email their audition clips along with their details - Name, Age, Address, Mobile Number, Email Address and Pictures to rkauditions@gmail.com before 11 September, 2013. One lucky winner of the contest will get a chance star in the show as RK’s heroine for his upcoming film. The winner’s name will be announced soon in September, 2013.

Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon: Will Madhubala’s popularity bother Rishab Kundra?



No matter how much they claim to love us and support us, the male ego takes a hit when they see a female more successful than them – so is RK’s ego bruised?
Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon finally moves on to a better plot. RK is losing his popularity in B-town as the producer’s guild bans him. While our hero is busy planning his own venture by producing and acting in his own movie, Madhubala is getting offers from the fraternity.

Madhu is pretty, emotive, talented and hails from a Bollywood family – ‘coz her mother was a junior artist and she is married to a Bollywood star. So, indirectly everyone thinks she will be the perfect choice to play heroine – like there’s a dearth of women in films, right.

Shishir Sharma, a new entrant in the daily soap will be playing a hot-shot director, who approaches Madhu for a role in his film. Mrs Rishab Kundra’s first instinct is to reject the offer, but she later takes it up. RK is happy initially, but soon his ego will take a beating when he sees his wife gaining more popularity than him. But that’s not the only thing that will irk him. Being an actor, she will have romantic scenes in the film; getting closer to any other man besides him will definitely affect our hero, no?

Colors’ Madhubala –Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, produced by Nautanki Telefilms is opening up an interesting track wherein RK (Vivian Dsena) who has been banned by the Producers’ Guild has decided to produce his own film.

The show will in due course of time see few new entries. As reported by media, Shishir Sharma has been roped in to essay the Director while Anita Hassnandani will play the successful actress Sanya.

We now hear that talented actress Sheela Sharma will soon enter the show. She will play a character similar to that of actress Bindu’s in the Shahrukh Khan starrer, Om Shanti Om. With a very stylish and sophisticated look, the lady will have a head-strong behaviour with a comic touch. The character, incidentally named Bindu in Madhubala, boasts of her actress daughter’s popularity and lives her life flaunting her richness. Even though she will have a comic touch to the character, her behaviour will be a bit greyish, informs our source.

When contacted, Sheela Sharma confirmed the news to us saying, “Yes, I will soon start my shoot for Madhubala. Mine will be a long-running role, is what I know. It is an interesting character, that of a lady who is comic, yet a bit grey.”

Sheela was earlier seen in Colors’ Rishton Se Badi Pratha, Sahara One’s Mata Ki Chowki and many other shows.

She will start shooting for Madhubala from next week.

Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon: Will Madhu’s growing popularity irk RK?

Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon , the soap which went on air last May with much fanfare has seen several twists and turns, some which kept the audience hooked.

With the baddie Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi) out of Rishbala’s life (Madhu--Drashti Dhami & Rishab Kundra--Vivian DSena), fans who thought everything will become honk dory for the lovey-dovey couple after all the melodrama are in for a big surprise!

New Twist ?

The soap which started as a very run of the mill story is all set to take on an interesting new plot! The writers are reportedly reverting back to of the original rags-to-riches tale of the simple, mature and calm girl Madhu who doesn’t hanker after stardom, but it is forced on to her.

Buzz has it that after the producer’s guild bans RK, his popularity begins to wane. The beautiful and talented Madhu, on the other hand starts getting offers from the fraternity.

New entrants in the daily soap -

According to sources, the serial is likely to see some new entrants. Actor Shishir Sharma has been roped in to play a hot-shot director. He will approach Madhu for a role in his film. Mrs Kundra not surprisingly will reject the offer to begin with but will later relent and agree.

The grist from the gossip mills is that Rakhi Vijan who was a part of daily soap in its early run is likely to make a comeback. She will help Madhu hone up her acting skills. In an ironical twist of fate, while RK’s career plummets, lady luck will smile on Madhu and she will become an overnight sensation.

RK’s reactions to Madhu’s success -

How will RK react? Will he be a supportive hubby and encourage his wife or will the dishy hero feel a twinge of envy and be peeved? The buzz word is that RK will revel in his wifey dearest achievement initially, but will later feel intimidated or emasculated by her success. Chances are the possessive RK may also be bothered by Madhu's romantic scenes with her male co-stars!
Looks like the plot will thicken, interesting no? We hope the upcoming episodes are intense and dramatic with a heavy dose of spicy chemistry between the beloved Rishbala that fans love! Guess we'll just have to wait and watch for what unfolds next…
