Source inside the set informed that the show might most likely end on two months, which means on June, Zee TV is planning a lots of shows and has a lots of shows in pipeline, due to the poor the TRPs, Punar Vivah is being underscanner now and the two months might decide the fate of the show, source inside the set said ''The show has reached it's point, nothing left to show''.
We hope that the show continue, since it has a huge fans following.

Surse din interiorul platoului de filmare au informat că spectacolul ar putea cel mai probabil să se termine în două luni, ceea ce înseamnă în iunie, Zee TV are o mulțime de spectacole planificate, din cauza TRPului scăzut, Punar Vivah este sub supraveghere acum și cele două luni ar putea decide soarta spectacolului, sursele din interiorul paltoului de filamre au spus'' spectacolul și-a atins punctul de vedere său, nu a rămas nimic pentru a mai arăta''.
Sperăm că spectacolul va continua, deoarece are un nr imens de fani.

Zee TV, the pioneer of TV entertainment in India will soon come up with a differentiated program with respect to fiction. The success of the show Punar Vivah as a brand has given rise to a thought wherein the channel feels that many new and fresh stories can be told by keeping the brand value of Punar Vivah in mind.

A reliable source from the industry tells us that Zee TV and the makers of Punar Vivah, Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt. Ltd are working on a new story under the Punar Vivah brand name due to its success, relevance in contemporary times and relatability to viewers. This new show will not be termed as a Season 2, and will have nothing to do with the ongoing story line of Punar Vivah which has Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar as leads. The present faces of the show Gurmeet and Kratika will not be part of the new show, is what we have got to hear.

Our source goes on to state that auditions are in full swing for this new project, and the channel is looking to cast few big names as part of the lead cast.

Sources suggest that Bidaai fame jodi Sara Khan and Angad Hasija have auditioned for the same.

We tried calling Producer Sumeet Mittal for a confirmation and sent him text messages, but did not receive any response even after repeated attempts.

The channel source too refused to comment on the above-said news.

Sources say that casting for Punarvivah 2, has already begun. Top on the list of actors is the hit Bidaai jodi, Angad Hasija and Sara Khan. The duo had a great chemistry in Bidaai and were seen together again in Ram Milayee Jodi. Both of them have given a look test for Punarvivah 2, says an insider. While Angad is said to have been finalised, talks are on with Sara. When contacted, Angad refused to comment. He however, admitted that given a chance, he will definitely do the show as it’s popular and has a different concept.

Interestingly, the show will not go off air or take a break to return later. “Even as the story of Yash (Gurmet Choudhary) and Aarati (Kratika Sengar) continues, a parallel track of the new cast will be introduced in the show. Eventually the focus will shift from the current leads to the new characters and a fresh story will develop.

Gurmeet and Kratika will no longer be part of the show,” informs the source. This is probably the first time that a season 2 of a show is starting without a break, albeit, with a new cast. Over a decade ago, Kutumb that starred Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan had experiment with a novel concept. After the love story between the leads outgrew, producer Ekta Kapoor continued the show by putting her actors in a different setting with a fresh story. Even their characters were changed.

The " Punar Vivah" team recently shot a promo for its second season with its lead actors Kritika Sengar and Gurmeet Choudhary. The latter wishes all the best for the show's new innings.

"It was an interesting shoot because it was the first time I shot as Gurmeet, so enjoyed it a lot. I would like to say best of luck to 'PV 2' ('Punar Vivah 2'). I don't know about the future, but I feel that till the time I am working here, I work hard and with heart," Gurmeet, who plays Yash Pratap Sindhia in season one of "Punar Vivah".

In the second season, there will be a completely different story and cast.

Rumours are abuzz that Karan V Grover, Aamna Shariff and Ashima Bhalla will play the lead in the next season.

"Punar Vivah" went on air in February last year.

With a focus on remarriage, "Punar Vivah" went on air last year with Gurmeet Chaudhary and Kratika Sengar playing the lead and the concept appealed to the viewers making it successful.
In the new chapter, the story will revolve around the lives of two young people and their families.
"We do not believe in stretching a plot beyond the intended span of its narrative," Ajay Bhalwankar, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, Content Head (Hindi general entertainment channel [GEC]) said in a statement.
Titled "Punar Vivah... Ek Nayi Umeed", the new version will once again be produced by Shashi-Sumeet.
"While the story of 'Punar Vivah' with its original characters of Yash and Aarti has run its full course and comes to an end shortly, we feel that the subject of remarriage offers an extremely interesting canvas for story-telling and there are so many layers of a man-woman relationship that can be explored. Hence the new story, the new chapter," said Bhalwankar.

"Punarvivaah" will unfold a new chapter with fresh star cast under a new title "Punarvivaah... Ek Nayi Umeed". But one thing that will be constant is the issue of remarriage.

With the story of protagonists Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) and Aarti (Kritika Sengar) and their remarriage coming to an end, the new story will see Rubina Dilaik, Karan V. Grover and Srishty Rode in the lead roles.
The new story is about a popular TV actress Divya (Rubina), who puts aside her love life in her quest to build a career. Karan will play Raj, a disillusioned young man, who ends up marrying Sarita, played by Srishty, chosen by his family, after losing his first love.
Karan, who has seen 'punarvivaah' in his family, said: "I will try to give the best and make the character relatable. I was happily surprised to get the opportunity, I like experimenting, so I accepted it."
Seen in serials like "Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli", Karan is currently part of the comedy show "Hum Hain Aapke In Laws" that comes on SAB TV.
Rubina, who played the lead in "Choti Bahu", said "Punar Vivah is a second chance to live life" and every individual has "a right" to get that second chance.
Talking about the show, she added: "Great responsibility on us to live up to the expectations of the audience. The show will project the real life love story of an actress, which I guess everyone wants to know about."
The new chapter will also see Srishty, last seen on the small screen as the grown up Shobha in "Shobha Somnath Ki".
"I am looking forward to play Sarita as it would show a different side of me as an actress... Sarita is not a typical kind of 'bahu'. She is very strong-minded."
The new chapter of "Punarvivaah...Ek Nayi Umeed" will start May 20 on Zee TV.
